I smiled at him, pulling him to our shelf of movies. He didn't try to take his hand away, nor did I. He simply stood beside me with a happy little grin as he looked through the movies. I squeezed his hand as I finally tore my gaze from him to look through the movies myself. However I was still in a bit of shock. I guess he just thinks this is what friends do. I mean, he is 18 and should know holding hands with another guy at this age usually doesn't mean friends. But I guess seeing as he hasn't had many friends in his life, he just doesn't understand.

"Ooh," I heard him squeak, making me giggle lightly. "I love this movie!"

He had pulled out 'Grease', a classic I've watched far too many times to even enjoy anymore. But I can make an exception for Dahvie. He happily followed me as I lead him back to my room, still holding hands.

I took the movie from him, trying to tug my hand from his so I could put the movie in.

"What?" He asked after I tugged my hand a little harder.

"I have to put the movie in," I laughed awkwardly.

"Oh," he looked to ground and brought his hand back to his side. "Sorry."

"It's ok," I smiled, putting the movie in. When I turned back to look at him, he was looking down and away with his arms hanging down beside him. His back was slightly bent forward, in a sad, dejected way. I felt awful, but I just had to put the movie in. I sighed, then joined our hands once again. He looked up with wide, shocked eyes.

"I didn't say we couldn't hold hands anymore," I smiled.

Now, it was my turn to be shocked. Dahvie leaned forward in one swift motion and hugged me tightly with one arm so the other could stay locked with mine.

"Dahvie, I thought you didn't like hugs," I joked, wrapping my own arm around his warm body.

"You're my first real friend, even if we've known each other for only a little while. You're the first person who's actually nice to me ," he whispered, making my heart fill with warm feelings. "Don't leave me please," he whispered softly, voice cracking slightly like he was about to cry.

What do I say to that? Or do? I pulled him a bit closer and nuzzled into the side of his head. "I won't," I replied simply.

We stood there a little more, I could hear soft sniffles coming from him. I felt so bad, but also this weird, indescribable feeling. All I know is whatever just happened, is a good thing. He's finally opened up to someone. And just knowing I did that for his, it just made me feel good inside.

After about a minute, I felt him beginning to pull back. He sniffled again as he cast his eyes away, "Sorry," he mumbled.

"Why are you sorry? I didn't mind," I placed my hand under his chin, forcing him to look up at me. I smiled at his wide eyes and bright cheeks.

"That was too far, I didn't mean to do that." He sighed, looking away the best he could with my hand still holding his chin.

"It's alright, I'm glad you did." I smiled, not really knowing what I should say.

Dahvie finally looked up at me, his dark brown eyes locking onto my own. What's happening? Are we about to do what I think we are? His eyes stayed on mine as I leant in a bit closer. He gasped slightly as his eyes left mine to dart back and forth between my lips. I nearly forgot we were still holding hands until I felt him squeeze tightly. I leant closer as he placed his free hand on my shoulder, leaning in closer to me. I smiled, ghosting my lips over his, leaning in a bit more-

"Jayy!" I hear my mom yell, and footsteps approaching my door. I quickly pulled away from Dahvie before she opened the door and poked her head inside. "Do you guys want some pizza? I can call and order some. I don't really feel like cooking tonight."

I looked over to Dahvie, "want some?" He nodded. "Yeah, sure, order some."

"Ok," she smiled before closing the door.

I turned to Dahvie who was nervously biting his thumb nail. I began to move in front of his again, placing my hands lightly on his hips. He smiled weakly, placing his small hands on my shoulders. I moved my face towards his again, when once again we were interrupted and had to break apart.

"Forgot to ask, what kind do you want? Meat lovers? Pepperoni? Cheese?"

"Just pepperoni, is that ok?" I turned to Dahvie who once again nodded for an answer.

My mom smiled, "ok, I'll go order. Can you do put away the dishes for me, please? There's only a few in the dishwasher." I groaned, but agreed anyways. "Thank you, it won't take you that long and then you and Dahvie can go play again."

"Mom, we aren't little kids!" I swear she still thinks I'm five years old.

She laughed, "I know Jayy-bear."

Finally she left, and I turned back to Dahvie who was obviously holding back laughter.

"What?" I crossed my arms.

"Nothing, Jayy-bear," he teased.

"Ugh," I groaned, and tried to give him a serious face. Though it was a bit difficult once Dahvie started to giggle in the most adorable way. "I guess I should go do the dishes."

He nodded, still giggling quietly. Now, I finally remembered what was about to happen before my mom walked in. We were about to kiss. But Dahvie's straight! Or, is he? I guess he never really said he was, but he never said he was gay either. Should I ask him? Or would that be a little awkward...

"Hey, Dahvie, wait."

"What is it, Jayy-bear?" He asked accompanied by his insanely cute giggling, but stopped once he saw my expression.

"Were we about to... you know..."

"Oh, uhm, I guess we were," he looked down to the floor, rocking a bit on his feet.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to push myself on you," I sighed, making my way to my door to leave and end this awkward situation.

"You didn't... I didn't mind," he whispered, letting his hair fall over his face to hide it.

I tilted my head with confusion. "You didn't?"

He shook his head, "not at all."

I walked back in front of him, placing my hands on his hips once again. He looked up at me and grinned before leaning forward and finally placing his lips over mine. I wrapped my arms around him, kissing back. We pulled away and he rested his forehead on mine.

"This is moving quickly," I laughing lightly.

"I know, and I'm never really close to people. Ever. I guess you're just special."

I pulled him in for a hug, wrapping my arms tightly around his waist. "I like being special."
Well, chapter three! What do you think so far? Dahvie is coming out of his shell, hurray! Chapter four, I have no idea what will happen. Chapter five, oh, chapter five. I have big plans for chapter five. This will jumpstart the story, i promise. I might actually do it in chapter four... but I think it'd make more sense to put it later. You'll see why. I want this to be more realistic and not 'flirt flirt SEX i love you now sleep' like some other Jahvie stories. NOT SAYING ALL ARE BUT. Anyways. I've had so much homework lately, surprised I even had time for this. Enjoy!
