Forbidden Chapter Five"So, can we talk?"

I sat down on his bed, clenching the dark violet sheets. I'm so scared. My palms are sweating, well actually, pretty much everything is sweating. I mean, I'm about to ask him to be my boyfriend without even a clue to whether he likes guys, let alone me.

He sat down next to me, grabbing my hand. It's not a big deal, really, he does it all the time. All the same, I still blushed. I wish even just holding hands meant something to him, but to him it's just a friendly gesture. I guess he assumes that's why I do it, but he's wrong. So wrong.

Forbidden Chapter Three I smiled at him, pulling him to our shelf of movies. He didn't try to take his hand away, nor did I. He simply stood beside me with a happy little grin as he looked through the movies. I squeezed his hand as I finally tore my gaze from him to look through the movies myself. However I was still in a bit of shock. I guess he just thinks this is what friends do. I mean, he is 18 and should know holding hands with another guy at this age usually doesn't mean friends. But I guess seeing as he hasn't had many friends in his life, he just doesn't understand.

"Ooh," I heard him squeak, making me giggle lightly. "I love this movie!"
